Nor Aina Che Manaf (MSc – Graduated)

Summary:

Nor Aina graduated from Univesiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia in 2011 with a BSc.(Hons) degree in Science Physics. She is currently pursuing her MSc. In Physics as a member of the Photonics Group. Her research interests focus on design and simulation of waveguide structures (slot waveguides) that can confine light in a nanometer wide area of low refractive index material due to the large discontinuity of the electric field at high-index-contrast interfaces. The slot waveguides design was used for sensing purposes since they are able to confine high field power confinement in the cladding medium
